What cleaning procedures are you implementing in the gym?

We will disinfect our surfaces, restrooms and equipment continually during classes and again thoroughly at night.

How will you maintain social distancing in the gym?

  • All equipment has been spread out to accommodate the recommended 6ft distance.
  • In an effort to reduce foot traffic in and out of our restrooms, please do your best to encourage your gymnast to use the bathroom at home prior to attending their gymnastics class. Gymnasts need to come fully dressed and ready to participate in class. Using the restroom as a changing area will not be allowed at this point in time.

What health guidelines are your coaches following?

All of our employees are following strict health guidelines upon their return to work. We are screening them daily for any symptoms of COVID-19 and taking their temperature as they enter the facility. Employees will be sent home immediately if they are exhibiting any symptoms or have a fever greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. They will not be allowed to return until the following criteria are met:

  • In the case of an employee or contractor who was diagnosed with COVID-19, the individual may return to work when all three of the following criteria are met: at least 3 days (72 hours), have passed since recovery (resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications); and the individual has improvement in symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; or - In the case of an employee or contractor who has symptoms that could be COVID-19 and does not get evaluated by a medical professional or tested for COVID-19, the individual is assumed to have COVID-19, and the individual may not return to work until the individual has completed the same three-step criteria listed above; or - If the employee or contractor has symptoms that could be COVID-19 and wants to return to work before completing the above self-isolation period, the individual must obtain a medical professional’s note clearing the individual for return based on an alternative diagnosis.
  • Additionally, an employee with known close contact to a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19 will not be permitted to return to work until the end of the 14 day self-quarantine period from the last date of exposure.
  • Our mask policy will continue to reflect any current and future executive orders placed by our state and local governments.

What health guidelines should students follow?

  • All gymnasts should be kept home if he/she or anyone in your family is coughing, has a temperature over 100.4, or other Covid-19 symptoms.
  • All students and parents will have their temperature taken before entering Best Gymnastics. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Our mask policy will continue to reflect any current and future executive orders placed by our state and local governments.

What should my child bring to gymnastics?

  • Our water fountains will be temporarily closed. Please send a water bottle with a secure top (to avoid spills) with your gymnast. In order to keep the gym clean, only water will be allowed. No juices, sodas, flavored water etc...will be allowed at this time.
  • If there are items your child absolutely must bring with them, please have them contained in a small bag or backpack they can carry with them from event to event. The items we recommend bringing are shoes or flip flops (kept in a separate plastic bag), a water bottle, hand sanitizer, extra hair ties, and change of clothes in case of an accident (younger than 4).

Will you be spotting my child?

We will be spotting in addition to using drills as much as possible. If you have any concerns with your child being spotted, please notify our office staff.

What is required of me for my child to attend Best Gymnastics at this time?

  • Via the parent portal in Jackrabbit, we have uploaded a new COVID-19 waiver clause. Please log-in and have this completed prior to your gymnasts return to the gym. We must have this waiver completed, signed, and on file inorder for your gymnast to participate.
  • We are asking you to please help us by doing your best to complete all transactions and questions regarding your account online via either our parent portal on our website, (, contacting us through email (, or by phone at 972-874-8800. If you do need to speak with us in person, please be aware that we will be checking temperatures at the door. If you have a temperature of over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit you will not be allowed inside Best Gymnastics at this time.
