Tiny Tumblers is a program for the child who wants to learn to “flip”. Flipping or rolling is usually attempted at a very young age. If these skills are not performed properly, an injury, which could have been easily prevented, can result. If your 4 or 5 year old is cartwheeling down your hallways or flipping off your couch, now is the time to get them in Tiny Tumblers.

Tiny Tumblers is a great time to begin a child’s tumbling education or to continue from the foundation developed in Best Kids Level 1. Our instructors are USAG safety certified and are trained to help build your child up physically and mentally to help achieve the tumbling goals desired. Tiny Tumblers is a 45 minute class for boys and girls ages 4 and 5 with a 6:1 student to teacher ratio. Discipline, social interaction with other children, and the fun and safe physical activity are a must for this stage of a child’s development.

Students will learn the basics of body positioning and movement in a fun-filled warm-up activity time. Introductory tumbling skills are taught in a large tumbling circuit on the floor in order to keep the children moving at all times while learning safe, proper techniques. Proper muscle movement and memory development is the foundation for tumbling and all athletic development.

Students are introduced to entry level tumbling techniques that include, front rolls, back rolls, handstand progressions, cartwheels, roundoffs, and even back handsprings. Proper progressions are always used to help students achieve their tumbling goals. Upper body strength and balance will begin to develop with the skills acquired in Tiny Tumblers. Students will enjoy and benefit from the safe and fun skills taught on the trampoline. These trampoline skills also develop air and body awareness as well as core leg strength. Every class ends with playtime in our foam pit.
